Pay with a credit or debit card, a linked device or an Opal card, tapping on and off on every metro, train, bus, ferry and light-rail trip; adult fares cap at $19.30 a day Monday to Thursday, $9.65 Friday to Sunday and public holidays, and $50 a week (transportnsw.info).
